Not always. All four years use the 5.7L Hemi V8, but eTorque mild-hybrid availability, sensors and accessories vary by year and trim. A 2021 engine may not bolt straight into a 2024 truck, so match by year and VIN before buying.

The 2025 Ram 1500 uses the 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six, in standard and high-output versions. The 5.7 Hemi was dropped for 2025 but returns as an option on most 2026 trims. The Hurricane is a gas engine and is not related to the 3.0L EcoDiesel.

Not always. Both are 6.7L Cummins engines, but calibrations and emissions equipment change from year to year. The Ram 3500 was also offered in a high-output version paired with the Aisin transmission, which isn't interchangeable with the standard engine.
